Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
